Description

Up for sale is a lovely complete Dojani khanjar from the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia. This particular example comes with a full silver construction in the usual filigree style used for the area. The silverwork remains in excellent condition through out and the green fabric remains intact as well. The blade is robust and well forged, with this particular style of blade likely tracing to the same area where the silverwork is made unlike some examples which comes with blades imported from places such as Oman or Yemen. Those local blades while coming with an unusual curve, they tend to be thicker than ones made in the aforementioned areas. The belt while a bit dry from age is complete and quite attractive.

A nice complete example to complement any collection.
